Cookie Policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small data file that is stored on the user’s computer in order to be able to recognize the computer on later visits. A cookie is a passive file that cannot collect information on your computer, spread computer viruses or other malicious programs.

Some cookies are placed by other parties (so-called 3rd parties) than the one in the address bar (URL) of the browser, for example when embedding a video from YouTube or a map from Google. This means that cookies are stored by parties other than the owner of the website.

Some cookies are only stored on the user’s IT equipment as long as the user has his browser open (session cookies). Other cookies are stored for a longer period of time (persistent cookies). When the user revisits a website, session cookies will be set again, while persistent cookies are typically simply renewed.

We use the traffic analysis tool from Google Analytics to track visitors’ use of the pages and improve usability. We have chosen to be able to recognize returning visitors, to get information about how many visitors there are on the pages, and their user behavior. By getting information about where the visitors come from and which pages they visit, it gives us a knowledge of which pages work and which pages need to be redesigned.

On our website, we use Facebook pixels to target the effect of our advertising based on the actions taken by visitors. The purpose is to ensure that the advertising on Facebook is shown to the right users and to the building of ad groups.

On our website we show some videos from YouTube. YouTube sets a cookie that we cannot turn off. YouTube uses cookies to track the use of the video and target marketing. Before playing the video, we therefore ask for consent for these cookies to be set.

On our website, there may be pages with embedded entries from Issuu, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, and Google Map. In connection with the embedding, cookies are set so that these social services can track which specific pages you visit.

You can read more about cookies and the rules in the Cookie Order on the Danish Business Authority’s website.
